Thin Straw
Fill glass with ice and add rum. Fill with cola and garnish with thin straw.
If cola had existed back in the days of Blackbeard the pirate, then this drink would almost certainly have been one of his favorites. A Cuba Libre is simply a rum and coke with a lime wedge added. Easy to make and popular, you'll serve many of these during your bartending career.
There are several variations of this drink but none of them are very exciting. Occasionally someone will ask that some club soda be added to the drink.
