Orange Wedge
Combine the sugar, bitters, cherry, and orange slice in glass. Muddle until ingredients turn into a paste. Fill glass with ice and add the Whiskey. Fill with club soda and stir. Garnish with cherry, sword, and orange wedge.
One of the oldest cocktails served today, this drink is still very popular. And as with any popular cocktail, people often disagree about how it should be mixed. Purists will dissolve the sugar in a small amount of water and skip the orange and cherry. Others skip the orange but keep the cherry in. Still others prefer a lemon twist.
