Want to make a bartender grumpy? Order six of these on a busy Saturday night when people are standing five deep at the counter. Bartenders hate Mojitos because they're a pain to make and the ingredients make your hands sticky. I've actually heard bartenders refuse to make them or say they're out of mint just to get away from serving them.
This drink has become exceptionally popular lately. The Mojito was created in Cuba. The sweetness of the drink can vary depending upon where in the world you order one. Many bars in Havana add bitters to the drink to cut down on the sweetness. Traditionally the drink is quite sweet.
This is a drink you should commit to memory as you'll be making quite a few of these during your career.
