Vodka 1 oz
Orange Juice Fill
Midori 1/2 oz
Large Straw
Fill glass with ice and add Vodka. Fill glass with orange juice and top with Midori. Garnish with a large straw.
The Melon Ball is one of those drinks that is made differently depending upon where you go and who you speak to. Some people drink it as a shot with vodka, Midori, and pineapple juice. Others substitute pineapple juice for OJ in the recipe above.
I prefer the drink made the way we've listed it above. But that's just my preference. Admittedly, it is delicious with pineapple juice. Ultimately it will be up to your customers to tell you how they prefer it. If someone just orders a Melon Ball, you're pretty safe with the recipe above.
