Bloody Mary

 

 

 

Collins Glass

Ice

Vodka 1 oz

Tomato Juice Fill

Celery Salt 1 Dash

Black Pepper 1 Dash

Tabasco Sauce 1 Dash

Worcestershire Sauce 2 or more Dashes (To Taste)

Horseradish 1 Dash

Lemon Juice 1 Dash

Stir

Celery Stalk

Lime Wedge

Large Straw

 

Fill glass with ice and pour Vodka.  Fill with tomato juice and add ingredients.  Stir, and garnish with celery, lime wedge, and large straw.

 

The Bloody Mary is the classic hangover remedy consumed in the morning.  Whether it helps or not I have no idea as I'm not a fan of vodka and tomato juice, especially not in the morning!  Admired by many, this drink has evolved over the years and has several variations.

For hangovers I prefer to hydrate and eat something filling but healthy.  Stories of eating greasy foods and consuming drinks with alcohol don't sound like cures to me.  Just getting up and moving around in the morning makes a world of difference in how I feel after a hard night of partying.  Here's some more info on hangovers if you're interested.
