Ice
Triple Sec 1/2 oz
Lime Juice 1/8 oz
Sour Mix 2 oz
Tequila 1 oz
Large Straw
Lime Wedge
Apply salt to rim of glass. Add ice to blender varying amount as needed. Add liquor, sour mix, and juice. Blend and pour into glass. Add garnish.
One of the most popular drinks in the world, the classic blended margarita is made with tequila and poured into a glass rimmed with salt. A Cadillac margarita is simply the traditional drink with Grand Marnier substituted for triple sec. Cointreau is also sometimes used instead of triple sec.
Writing this is making me hungry. I'm off to El Torito Grill for some fresh tortillas and a Strawberry Margarita!
